I don't know where you live, (I live in Connecticut) but there is a show on this very subject right now on channel 4 or 6 and it is the Peacock channel. It is regarding a couple who had genetic testing to avoid having a child with a severe disorder called Franconi Anemia. They were doing this in order to save their first born child who had the disorder and was in jeopardy of losing her life. I hope this helps.
