I can see where you would want some definate answers, Sandra. By all means, do the DNA testing if it will help you with all of this, but (and this likely goes unsaid!), please don't "mess with" any of your son's treatment until you know for sure that he does NOT have CAH. CAH can be deadly for children - even if they have "just a mild case". As far as putting drugs into your baby's body, I can remember how awful I felt about that, too! But, you must realize that your son's medication are not really "drugs" - they are natural hormones that every one of us are SUPPOSED to have in the first place; you are merely replacing that which his body cannot supply on its' own. If you find, down the road, that the CAH is really real, come on back to this message board!
