The "negative" things have been solely about having the surgery done on a child, before they are old enough to be a part of the decision. Michelle is a perfect example of why parents should wait unless there's an absolute medical necessity to do it earlier. She chose to do it; she's old enough to realize the results are from her decision; the technology is much more advanced than it was had her parents had it done when she was a child and she obviously didn't suffer from waiting to have it done.

I'm very glad she's willing to answer questions, and hope that many parents will pay attention and realize that waiting is not the horrible thing they think it is.
