Offended by Danny's Opinion

It may be your choice to shelter your children by home-schooling and influencing their beliefs and opinions, but many choose to allow their CAH children to lead a "normal" life alongside other children in the community, whether it be in the playground, school on on the sports field.  Most children just want to "fit in" and be "normal", just like all the other kids.  Young children can be very mean and cruel. If it isn't bad enough that our CAH children have the whole CAH thing to worry about and deal with growing up, but to have "male like" genitals (in the extreme case), even though they are completely female, would be physchologically scarring in my opinion.  We have chosen to treat our CAH daughter just like our non-CAH daughter and will try to put as little emphasis on her condition as we possibly can, while still monitoring and controlling her condition very closely at all times.
