I can't even influence her on a tasteful hair style or how to wear her clothes never mind what would have been right if she'd had CAH and ambiguous genitalia!!!!!!  She thinks she knows it all...... Have your kids not got to that stage yet Danny? 

 

We don't OWN our children!  They are just on loan for a short while until they get to an age where they can cope by themselves.  Even though we will worry about them, we will have NO CONTROL whatsoever on what they do when they leave home.  Are you under the illusion that by leaving surgery until a certain age that you will still have some control.  I think that is unreasonable and would be a lot worse than getting it over with if that is you plan.  I am sorry but I don't know where else you are going with this.  The only thing we can do is teach them good values and HOPE that they adopt them. The minute that you start enforcing something upon a teenager they have this amazing knee jerk reaction of wanting to rebel.  You should know, you where a teenager once.  Babies become big ungrateful teenagers.....well for a brief time.  Then, as they mature they THEN see that you tried to do your best.  It's always been the way.......
