Been there done that.  I have followed the board but have not posted because I felt no one supported our decision to have our daughter's surgery done when she was young.  I got alot of negatives from the very people I thought would be understanding.  I thought this was a message and SUPPORT board.  I respect everyone's decision wether it be to wait or not.  You who have had your children in the past 5 years or so, should feel very lucky.  When our daughter was born there was nobody to talk to.  No internet.  Just doctors.  We were lucky to find a paragraph here or there about CAH.  What did we know?  Just what our doctors told us.  I wish we had available to us all the information that can now be found.  I can't say that it would have changed our minds, but it sure as heck would have made us better informed.  I have learned more on this message board in the last few years than I have ever imagined could be possible.  In this, I want to thank you all!  Remember, we are individuals and are all doing what we feel is best in the care of precious children.

Take Care,

Nancy
