Unless she is allergic I don't think there is a stress dose needed. Someone just posted about herself getting stung and having a horrible allergic reaction to it. She was given predisone I believe to help her body to fight off the allergic reaction she had. She was concerned because she was nursing her infant that has CAH. (she herself did not have CAH) That is a good question. What would you do if the child does have and allergic reaction to a bee sting. What would the treatment be? I would have been pissed off too. I am sure you straightened her out. I know someone used the EMLA cream to help the sting go away. I just used it to remove a splinter. Glad to hear she is ok.
