This is what I was told, too, Sophina, but I think that Beth D's observation about the possibility of both parents having a gene for a different sort of CAH rings true, too. I am wondering, Beth, if this maybe doesn't make a difference, as one of these types of CAH is bound to be dominant and the other recessive (I seem to remember reading about THAT, too!!) ??? I guess that all of our good intentioned "guesses" are only that, and that your best bet - Kimberly - is to take Beth's advice and speak with a genetic counsellor yourself. Good luck!
