My husband and I just got back from meeting with a geneticist for the first time, (we are in the process of deciding whether we'll try to have any more children).  I forgot to ask him a question that occassionally pops into my mind.  Maybe someone on this message board can answer it for me... As a carrier of the CAH gene, does this meen that BOTH of my parents are also carriers?  Or could it be passed on to me by only one of my parents?

I appreciate any information.  It is just one of those questions that  floats around in my head when I think how amazing it is that we have a child with CAH, based on the rarity of the condition.
