Congratulations!! I agree with Martha: the dex may give you some annoying side effects such as weight gain, sleeplessness, moodiness, etc., but (as long as your BP if fine) is definately worth it in the long run! I took dex with my last pregnancy, and have a beautiful 4 yr old girl with "normal" genitals because of it. If your CVS or amnio shows that your baby does not have CAH, or if the baby is a boy, your doctor will wean you off of the dex at that point, otherwise you will take it to the end of your pregnancy. Try not to worry! (yes, this is hard, I know). You are doing the right thing! I will keep you and your baby in my prayers - God's blessings.
