I just went to the endo with my two kids, and they decreased my five year olds meds, he has been on the same dose for years, I think since he was one. Anyway his levels always have shown he was bit oversupressed, although, looking at him he shows no signs, very thin, not puffy etc. So the endo has kept his dose the same. He got bone age this time and it shows a bone age of 3 1/2 when he is five so he decreased his cortef by 1/4 tablet daily. He said since it was a small decrease he would not do a blood test until his next apt. in 3 months. He said he wanted Joe to catch up on his growth a little bit, he is pretty small for five, about 10-15%, but I am small, and his Dad is tall, so it is very hard to tell where he should be.
