I was wondering if any of you out there with any knowledge or experience with diabetes can help me.  A friend of mine has a daughter who was just diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 7.  The symptoms that her daughter exhibited that prompted her to seek an evaluation seem similar to some of the symptoms that my daughter, who has is a severe CAH salt waster, seems to be experiencing lately.  We just got out labs back and they were perfect........FINALLY...after 1 year of some rocky lab results.  But I was curious as to what to look for regarding diabetes, and whether or not it would have been detected with all the routine lab work CAH patients have done.  Do any of your children have CAH and diabetes?
