Anyone with a similiar child, please respond or email me.

I am trying to find help.  My 18 year old son, Kevin, will not take his medication.  He hasn't been for quite some time.  You can had it to him and you will get I will take it later....which never happens.  When he was in his early teens, he would take it at times.  I have always had to give it to him.  He never would offer to take it on his own.  I have a 15 yr old that also has CAH and he doesn't remember everytime; but very close to it. Kev gets very angry if you push the issue, which makes it harder.  I am really getting desperate now.  He had his appointment for levels a month ago and would not go.  My mother took Brad, for his check up; and  Kevin was discussed.  The doctor asked if his skin has darkened yet and he definitely has.  All I was told was that wasn't a good sign.  It usually preceeds debilitating sickness and death.

He has been through so much with this illness.  It was not diagnosised untill 2 weeks after they started treating him for it!.  Our doctor's were a Godsend.  One of them had heard of a case like this in Texas and just rushed, Kev, to Egelston.  They gave him a few hours.......Sometimes it is nice when a doctor makes a misjudgment.  He has been hospitalized so many times in is childhood from illness.  the checkups were horrid.  Can he remember those times, he is so angry he won't talk.

PLEASE any help.
