It can be good for bone age to be slightly lower than chronological age, in order to take full advantage of the second major growth spurt in early teens. If bone age is lower, it is less likely to be the factor that limits this period of accelerated growth.

Has a consistent dose of (x)mg/m2 worked for anyone? Why (not)?
