Wether or not it would be detected in routine lab work would depend on your Dr and what he/she screens for routinely. Does your daughter have her glucose level measured routinely, if she does, this would have picked it up as diabetics have very highglucose levels, . If you are still concerned and think she hasn't had her glucose checked, take her to the Dr for checking out. It is quite easily diagnosed.
