Nicole- I am new to this but let me introduce myself. I live in RI and have a 9 yr. old son with CAH -salt wasting. He will going into the 4th grade in 2 weeks and boy can I relate. When he started kindergarten I went thru you know what with our school. I was so naive I just went to explain to teacher and principal everything about him and his condition. It was awful. It started a big fight between the principal and the nurse and I have to fight with him at the beginning of every school year. I loved that you went to the fire dept. I also found out that our EMT's do not carry solu-cortef and that they would actually have to get permission from the chief of emergency services at our local er befor they could even inject!
