We are in MN. Our son was diagnosed through newborn screening. I feel very fortunate he was diagnosed at 8 days old. We didn't see any signs of problems, except for no weight gain. By the time the test results were back he was admitted immediately to Children's Hosp. because his levels were so out-of-wack. I am so thankful he was diagnosed through the screening.
