Hi Shaji,

   I found out that Goethals was my birth mothers name through my adoptive parents. They said that that was the name on my medication bottles that came with me from the foster home.

   I haven't made a serious effort to look for my birth mother. I did the Yahoo people search on- line and it gave me a listing with all the people with the last name of Goethals in all the public telphone listings in Michigan.

   There are a lot of people with that name in the Sterling Heights, Huntington Woods, St. Clair area. My birth mother has an older brother so I'm sure that he is one of the people on the list. I'm just to chicken to call anyone ! I wish all the best for the lady and I hope her life turned out well. Also, I hope everything turned out OK for my birth father and the half older brother I have some where.  

   I like it when men post on the CAH board. I wish that more fathers could do this. Even if it is a little response. It doesn't have to be some extra long drawn out thing. I like to read the male perspective when it come to CAH. 

   I was born in Warren, Michigan and grew up in a town just outside of Ann Arbor. I now live just outside of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl.
