Julie HThat sounds like an excellent idea Sandra. I have lived with CAH for many years and like Valerie only found this Message Board Recently. Before I had a PC I would as a parent have found such a book very useful. You have got to think about all the parents out there that do not have these luxuries at their fingertips so I had often considered the possibility of writing a book. Always was pretty clued up where that was concerned having taken a course on 'Writing Short Stories' at one point. That was never with the intention of writing a book about CAH though. I did toy with the idea a few years ago, but then I got to thinking just how rare CAH was and that I didn't think that any publisher would sign me up with that regards as it would not exactly be a Best Seller. Most publishing houses are only considering such if it is profitable, as much as I would have greatly enjoyed doing something like that and certainly not to profit by financial gain. Guess we have all got a few hints and tips that we can share with others that would be useful. Since I bought a PC package, I too have learnt a great deal more with regard to CAH. I think my child's Endo would say almost too much sometimes, but I think we need to learn as much as we can where our children are concerned. More recently, I thought a web site would be a good idea. I guess although a Message Board is useful in all this, but eventually Messages go off the board and are not available for the new parents who come to the board. They then have to wait for that topic to be aired on the Message Board again, or raise it themselves and often some things we don't even think of until other's bring them up. Perhaps you could consider that idea instead, because although no profit would be made, it would be there for other parents to visit and benefit from? They can print the pages off. Any parents that don't have a PC could go to their nearest Cyber Cafe or local Library and get these things printed off. Some parents belong to individual support groups scattered worldwide and we could all spread the word so that parents who don't have PC's can search these things out. I know a few parents that don't have PC's who I correspond with by snail mail and whenever they need advice I do a search and if I find something useful for them I print it off and send it to them. It would be a gift to such parents to print a book off from a Web Site and send it to them.
I wish you all the best with your endeavours,
JH
