There is research that shows that children can be properly suppressed and allowed great growth on dex. There are parents on this board whose children are on dex. The problem is that the doctor needs to understand the strength differences between cortef and dex and many have gotten it wrong and the child is WAY oversuppressed. For me, because my child's levels are great, switching seems scary to me at first. Dex would need to be given only once a day. I'll look for the articles on this.
