What type of dex is your son on --- elixir or tablet?  Does he take it in the morning, or at night?  Is he a SW?  How big is he (height and weight) and what is his current dose?  My son is 8, has been on dex since diagnosis a little less than 2 years ago, and generally done very well.  I ask all these questions because all these things could affect how he is responding to the medication.  I would love to hear more about your situation, and may have just the doctor to recommend.
