Just happened to see this info on the bracelets. Just a reminder that when Medic Alert engraves onto their superstrong stainless steel emblems that they DEEPLY engrave.  It takes years and years for that to wear away. I myself have been in the jewelry industry off and on for 20 years and can tell you that there are many bracelets and necklaces available, however most of these companies do not do the engraving themselves. Instead when we get them in we engrave them. Most machine engraving machines that jewelry stores use do not have needles strong enough to deeply engrave, therefore it wears off relatively easily or is obscured by the scratches. My son has had his first M.E. necklace for 6 years and the engraving is like new. I truly think that that brac. and necklaces that Medic Alert sells and engraves are the best I've ever seen. Also, they have a new one that is really great looking. I believe it is two-tone titanium ( yellow and white gold look), many people have aked us where we got it because it is so good looking. Just thought I would give my thoughts since I work in jewelry.
