Why on earth does your endo not want to to triple his cortef when he is vomiting? If he is vomiting on and off for 2 days there is no way he is keeping down his required med. I don't know about the gagging, i don't have that problem with my son. However, I know many people whose children gag very easily and that could just be how your son is especially when he keeps feeling like he is going to vomit. I mean I would think your always "on the brink of going to the ER" because he is not medicated well enough. My son had a stomache virus several years ago that was just awful. If I can remember correctly he vomited off and on for 5 days - BUT we kept him on his triple doses just about the whole time. It just so happened that every time he vomited, it was always several hours after his med time and the doctors felt that he had absorbed his med each time so that he wasn't actually vomiting it up. But, I still ended up in the ER just as a precaution to avoid dehydration. I can't imagine what would have happened I had not been given him his extra cortef the whole time. How would others have dealt with this?Valerie
