  Thank you for your post on the LOCAH board about stem cells. I have the same type of feelings about the issue.

   I don't know if it is to early for your son's endo to tell you this but I wanted to give you the heads up on the topic of osteoporosis and the cortisone drugs we need to stay alive. More than likely, you know about this all ready. Unfortunately, cortisone has the ability to leech calcium from the bones which may lead to early  ( in your son's 30s ) osteoporosis in men and women with CAH. It would help your son to get bone density tests done early and periodically so the endo can monitor the loss of calcium and can act accordingly.
