Thank you everyone for your well thought out and empathetic input.  I have tears in my eyes I am so grateful for all your understanding and support. Everything you said makes so much sense and are all the things I have been thinking myself. I feel that Dr. New does go by the numbers too much; she is too clinical and does not understand all the underlying issues. However, she did get Kyle under great control when he needed it and got him to his present height of 5'7"+. I remember when he said to me, "I'm going to look like Danny DeVito" and I had to run out of the room crying. I will always be grateful to her that he is taller than me! However, it is now time to move on and get another opinion now that he is past puberty and has stopped growing.
