That's great Kare!!! The nurse and I are on a personal basis by now and I have no worries on that end. You definately have the best of both worlds. This year I can participate more in the school system because I don't have any children at home to watch. The kids (and I) are excited about that. I can keep a better eye on Ryan and his CAH symptoms as the school is extremely hot this time of year and Ryan is a severe salt waster. Actually, that is kind of what I was trying to say in my post before I let my emotions carry me away. I was trying to say that compared to last year (which was my son's first year of school) my nerves about anything CAH related happening have are almost non existant now that I have a whole year under my belt. Last year we had a long thread with nervous but compassionate moms worrying how all that would go. I was one of them. I just want them to know that it is possible to reach a happy medium with the school as long as you feel that they are adequately educated and prepared for anything that might come along. I have stocked my school nurse's office with plenty of Gatorade and salty snacks as well as my home office number and cell phone. Each child reacts in a different way to CAH but as long as everyone is educated all should go well. Well, the kids will be getting off the bus soon (Yeahhh!!) so I better finish up my work. Good luck to all.(:>)
