CarolHi Valerie,
We are in Fairfield County, CT, and we go to Yale in New Haven. And, actually, we do absolutely love our pediatric endo. I don't have any personal experience with Boston Children's, but---having lived in that city for 8 years---know what a great reputation it's got. I think it was just named #1 for Pediatrics in the country by US News and World Report. Mass General has a great reputation, too. Along with Johns Hopkins, I believe it was one of the first places in the country to establish guidelines for treatment of CAH. Our doctor did his training in ped. endocrine there (at MGH) and, as I said, I feel he is excellent.
Hasbro is in Providence, right? Is it the teaching hospital for Brown? You are lucky in many ways, because you have a number of great hospitals to choose from, all within an hour's drive of you. Have you generally been happy with the care you've received? I have a son, too....he just turned 8. Nice to have you on board!
