Hi Carol - Thanks for the welcome. I am so happy you let me know your from CT. Yale is such a great hopital - my sister worked there (ped RN) for many years before she moved to Philly. I am somewhat familiar with your area as she lived in many areas around Fairfield Cty. She lived in Hamden, Orange, Guilford, Fairfield (her 1st husband was born and raised there) . I live in Southern RI along the coast and have 2 kids , a 13yr old girl unaffected and a 9yr old son, CAH-SW. We have been go ing all along to Hasbro Childrens Hospital in Providence ( yes, teaching hosp. for Brown etc.) and so far I am relatively pleased. We just got our computer 2 weeks ago and am really new to all the info on the MB. I have read almost every message back through the 6 pages just to learn more and have seen your name so much. I remember your response to someone and you to to be so educated, are you in the medical field? Honestly, I really thought I knew enough, and I guess I do in regards to caring for my son, yet everyone sems to know alot more than me. One question, I have for you is , do you feel your son(is he SW?)have the energy level of others his age? My son has never been energetic and tires easily, even when it comes to things he enjoys (therefore I know that it's more than laziness). And also, if your son is on cortef, have you had a any weight problems because of it? My son takes 5mg. cortef and his florinef in am (between 7:00 - 8:00), 2.5 mg. cortef in afternoon (with school starting it will be around 3:30-4:00) and 2.5 mg. in evening before bed approx. 9:00-9:30. (there is not 8 hours between tha afternoon and evening pill times but our doctor says its ok because supposedly his urine and/or blood always comes back "near perfect" and he is so far , god-willing always been very well controlled) Do you always do as close to 8 hours on all his med times? I feel I am heading into a problem (dosing problem ) and would like some more info before his next appt. @ end of this month. Sorry this is so long and thank you so much for contacting me.  Valerie
