Wow, so much comes from a post about physical activities!  I have always believed that my child needed extra cortisol and electrolytes when he was engaging in prolonged activities, since they place stresses on the body.  However, we are never adivised that.  I think I will be doing that from now on.  I never gave gatorade type drinks because I always assumed that if my child was wasted after sport they would not be able to retain such anyway.  However, I see a need for them in this siuation provided that they get their cortisol needs met first to be able to retain the fluids and electrolytes.  I personally never buy them because of the expense and the colourings that they have and other additives.  I have however obtained on a regular basis, the sachet type electrolyte drinks from my GP or Endo to have their handy for when my child has vomiting episodes.  Maybe they could be used as an alternative and more confidently.  If I bought gatorade for Jared, I would have to buy the same for all my children and my grocery bill would be enormous!

As for the symptoms involving the heart and the stabbing in limbs that would concern me. Jared has had discomforts and tells me of every little twinge, but he has never complained of either of those symptoms or the migraines so I would tend to agree with you Diane and start to look at the Lupron.  I would certainly be taking your child to the doctors and telling them about his/her symptoms and getting him/her checked out.  Get them to take it seriously too.  I know nothing much about Lupron, but I would say that as it is relatively new, that you should mention these things to the doctor asap.  It may be totally unrelated but all the same to put your mind at rests, mention the symptoms and above all ask questions.  I know some of the symptoms that you mention such as full face and weight gain are typical symptoms that Jared has had in the past when he has been over suppressed and suffering the side effects of HCT as you would in that situation.
