My 8 year old daughter has been on lupron for 5 years, the first year it was every month.  She had nasty reactions like huge egg sized lumps and pain.  Also she was never suppressed because of this.  Year 2 she started on daily injections 42units, it took increasing her dose every 2 months to finally get her suppressed another year later.  She currently takes 62 units daily and still has a site reation every day.  Sometimes it is just red and a little bump and sometimes it really gets big and hurts.  Well, only 3 years to go!  Hope this helps.   Linda
