Thank you for responding, I thought that maybe no one had touched on this issue---but I think it is more likely that dentists are not educated about adrenal insufficiency since I have this noted with her on my childs records.  She has never done anything for my child---not even a filling and I would hate to think she was putting such off necessary dental work at the risk of causing harm.  I would be quite happy to double or triple his dose and be with him at the appointment if necessary.

I do feel that the issue of his teeth not being aligned properly needs to be addressed though---not so much for cosmetic reasons---though that would be nice----but the fact that it may eventually affect his bite.  All his teeth seemed to be grossly overcrowded as I said and the jaw seems to small in relation to the amount of teeth that he has.  because they are permanent teeth not milk teeth and he isn't due to have any more drop out of their own accord, it concerns me.  As I said I get terrified with just a filling and as far as I knew we are supposed to double with any stress that is related to such procedures.  I have also had a tooth tremoved recently and it was less stressful than having fillings!!   So who knows???   I will ask my sons consultant the next time that we see him---and may have to take his bone age scan results to the dental nurse to explain to her what has happened.  She may behable to advise me further.  I'll keep you all posted.
