My daughter has always been well controlled and on a low dose according to her endo. She used to be on a 2 x a day schedule and did fine, actually had to lower her dose. We switched endos and asked about a 3 a day after hearing that most were on 3 x a day. Both endos were very unconcerned about the EXACT times to give the meds. We were told first in the morning (we wait until after she's nursed), half way between then and when she goes to bed, and before bed. Well, I was concerned too, because my daughter was going to bed at 7:00 and waking at 7:00. When I questioned the endo she said "well, when she gets older her bedtime will be later". That wasn't good enough so now we dissolve the pill, like we do with all doses for our 16 month old, and give it to her around 11:00 before we go to bed and she goes right back to sleep. So, her times are 7:30, 3:30, 11:00. The problelm is this schedule is working too well, She's on the low end and almost oversuppressed. We'll see in 2 weeks for her next blood draw but I'm pushing for a slight reduction in meds.Julia S
