I know just how you feel. I was just telling a new mom of a CAH child the other day about this phenomenon. It seems that it isn't until the first crisis is over that you finally feel that you can do anything necessary to keep these kids well and alive. I also had my first "crash and burn" after that one. It was as if it had sunk in that my son did indeed have this disorder and there was no escaping it, but the feeling of relief that I had done what was necessary to keep him with us even during such a tramatic time was empowering. Congratulations to you and to all of you who step out of your comfort zones and virtually save your child's life. It is also very comforting to the people on this board that sharing in our extremely emotional experiences truly helps others during their time of need. You guys are the greates and your children are very lucky to have you as their parents. God bless.LynnT
