My five year old SW CAH has broken his leg and his collar bone, he really did just fine, I triple dosed once but he did not really seem to need that. He has been in "crisis" two times, one with the Roto Virus, which I believe at the time was given the wrong medicine, not solu-cortef but a longer acting injetable, and then he had a low blood sugar episonde after vomiting once. I now give an injection when my kids vomit just once. I do not go to the hospital. It seems to work as I have not been to the ER or hospital for about 5 years. My two year old SW CAH has never had a crisis. I am unsure whether I manage the illnesses better with him or if he is just better able to handle the illness. I am sure all kids react differently. But I am very quick, quicker than my Endo adivises to give my kids an injection.
