I agree on waking up if child is sick. I had an incident where my child vomited once during the day, he seemed fine and I put him to bed w/ a triple dose, and he was nearly in a coma in the morning, Dr. suspects low blood sugar vs. an adrenal crisis. He perked up several hours later w/ shot of solu cortef. I now wake up and give fruit juice or pop to keep a check on blood sugar. I had never heard of such a thing prior to it happening to my son.
