Hi Jill, I understand how you feel. My daughter has had four surgeries. The first one being three days after her first birthday, that one was four and a half hours long. She has done well with all the surgeries. My endo is very cautious and had us give our daughter the whole vile of solu-cortef ourselves an hour before the surgery.  This way we know she has had the solu-cortef even before the anasthesia.
