Hi Julie! Your not going to believe this, but my son just missed a dose yesterday afternoon and I've been going crazy for the last 12 hours because of it. Then I wake this morning to see your post and think, "I'm wondering the same thing!". My son usually has his afternoon pill at 3:50 when he gets off the school bus. Yesterday, I was running upstairs to put some laundry away and shouted down to him to take his pill. When I got back downstairs, I asked him if he took it, and he replyed "yes". I made the big error, I did not check myself, I took his word for it. (he is 9 yrs. old). Anyway, for some odd reason, I looked in his medicine case at 9:00pm and saw his pill still in there! So, I made him take it right then. (He said he thought he had taken it!) Then, I started getting nervous but I do remember doing this a couple of times when he was very young and questioning the doctors and I seem to remember them telling me the same thing your doctor told you. If it's time for or close to time for the next dose, just skip it and get back on schedule. I don't feel that can be right either. So, at 11:30pm, when I went to bed, I gave him his evening dose anyway. Then I rose at 6:30 this morning to give him his a.m. dose. I have no idea if I did the right thing and I will certainly check with his doctors when we go to the next appt. I will let you know what they say and in the meantime, I hope others respond to this post because I am really curious as to how others handle this situation. Talk to you son Julie! ValerieValerie
