Hi Cindy, sorry I took so long to answer but this whol WTC thing has really taken a toll on us here. My husband was finally able to get back into the country on Sunday afternoon. The school nurse has called me every- day for the last 4 school days to tell me that Ryan complains of not feeling well. I know that he is under suppressed because of his behavior and appearance, but our last appointment in NY was cancelled. My husband will be bringing him in tomorrow for an appointment. Before you go buy a glucometer, call your insurance company and see if they have any that they send out to their clients. Mine did. I tried for a blood pressure machine but no such luck. Oh well. As far as what the reading should be and all that, that is something I feel you should decide between the ped endo and yourselves. This is a relatively new element to be added to the CAH mix so, at the moment, I am just testing him with relation to his mood and energy swings. No results yet. Please understand that this is something I had decided to do after doing some research. Not every ped endo would agree. Check with yours, but be firm. I think there is great evidence that this should be monitored and treated as well - at certain times!!! Good luck and GOD BLESS AMERICA AND US ALL!LynnT
