hello board.  i am new to all of this.  i am looking for info regarding cortisol treatment for cah.  my 7 year is presently being tested for it in two weeks.

  i guess i should first ask what the acth stim test is like?  are there any side effects?  is it painful or is it just blood drawn?  my other question is in regards to the symtoms of cah.  my 7 year's bone age is 8 years/1 month - is that a remarkable difference?  she also has had pubic hair since age 6.  recently beginning with little body odor, some pimples - are these also symptoms?

if she is diagnosed with cah, are there side effects from the pill cortisol?  i'm so worried and overwelmed at this point and would really appreciate any input from someone.
