Dian's Opinion of: Non-Response of Letter To CAH Dr.

Yea, it has been a real mess since my separation from her in 1997. Though I live less that 2-miles from them, the real issue is that she is doing everything possible to ostracize me from either of my boy's life. In doing so, I am not included in any aspect Triton's CAH care, much less any other part of his or his brother's day-2-day lives. It is hard to participate when you have NO advanced knowledge of Dr's appointments and there is ZERO custodial-2-non-custodial parent communication. However, it does make it very easy for her to convey to the Dr's, and any other sympathetic ears, her allegations of my apparent "Unwillingness" to participate in the CAH care our son requires. Very SAD!

As for the letter sounding vindictive and childish to you, opinions always vary based on the vantage point of the provider. When a family court judge recently read the letter, his comment was: "I do not blame the Dr. for refusing to go on professional record to answer the questions contained within the letter. It sounds very confrontational, and It seems to me that the refusal to answer the questions was likely based on the fear of being sued for mal-practice based on the responses provided."

The most conservative interpretation of the letter, being professionally challenged through the interrogatories within my response letter, has and is being used currently in the family courts by my x-wife to plead for more and more paternally restrictive Court orders minimizing, supervising and controlling any contact I have with my son based on the alleged "Excessive Stress" I cause him expose him to when he is in my care, as is understood by the court based on its interpretation of the Dr's letter.

"Pissing Contest", well I consider my actions to be done with the sincere intention of expanding mine and the courts understanding of the real danger presented to CAH children from life's "Normal Stressors" such as running, swimming, minor bumps, minor bruises, scratches, minimal corporal punishment, verbal scolding and the like. I do not believe the courts should be issuing orders preventing any parent of a CAH child from contributing to the possibility that the child will experience any of these "Normal Stressors". That is exactly what is happening, and I adamantly disagree with the courts position on the issue.

I welcome any thoughts on this issue. I will be attaching two current court orders today to this board that I think people may find very interesting.
