In re-reading my above post, I realized that it may have sounded like I was saying that CAHers make half of the cortisol as "normal" individuals. What I was trying to say was that carriers only make half the "norm". We know that severe CAHers make little or no cortisol rendering them virtually unable to sustain life without supplementing. Sorry if there was any confusion. (:>)
