I sometimes think this subject is better off not discussed because it always gets heated. Surely everyone is entitled to their bliefs and these decisions are not made lightely. We all have our child's best interests at heart. I personally think that you are making the right decision Kaye and commend you for that. I also believe that a child growing up in today's society with ambiguous genitals would be more psychologically damaged that the surgery itself. However, we are all entitled to our opinions and beliefs and we are all doing what we believe would be best for our children. Please do not criticise someone for that, dealing with CAH can be hard enough for some people without any added pressure.Jenni
