Julie HThe one thing that I forget to note here( as I assume everyone remembers from previous posts) is that last year my son was grossly undersuppressed for a long period of time---over 9 months approximately. Since acquiring an on line connection and a pc, I have taken on more knowledges and learned far more---all something I felt that I needed to do. It's not often you discover a message board and realise that in relation to other's, what you know about your child's condtion is paltry by comparison and also help other's in the process from my past experiences. ( My therapy was learning more so that I could be in control and play an active part in my childs treatment---bottom line though.)
Anyhow---save waffling on---since discovering that he was so undersuppressed now after demanding records, I am wondering if his suceptability to athsma is something that he has had for a while but that it has been masked by the extra steroids that he was on when over suppressed? I find it very strange that the one year that he does suffer the symptoms quite badly, is the year he is not receiving adequate doses of hydrocortisone.
It has made me wonder on top of this if during the early years when a lot of children are under suppressed if these types of other conditions don't seem as apparent as they might if the child did not have cah?
