My pharmacist will not use the crushed tablet's as he says he has to follow a strict protocol and has to use the HCT powder.  There wouldn't be a preservative in the tablet would there besides a binder?  Makes me wonder if that is not the case here as tablets have quite a long shelf life compared to syrup, even though they are dried.  Wonder if the manufacturers would tell me?

It's just that I have been trying to get this suspension subsidized like the tablets are and we are still waiting for the paper work to be dealt with and in the meantime it is costing me $10 per week for the suspension as opposed to the usual cost of $3.00 every three months for three month supply of tablets.

His dose is 5mg, 3mg and 7mg.  We have blood tests this week and hopefully his levels are back within the normal ranges.  He mentioned last week that he had pubic hair and I had to examine him, which I don't really like to do---he is ten!  It's as well that I did as there is the beginnings of some there and I don't know just how far things have gone now and feel we need a bone age scan.  I was also wondering that if they do manage to stop things, would the hair and size of the genitals regress after treatment was upped or is it still apparent?
