The Magic Foundation is in Chicago. Dr. Sonya Pang is the ped endo that they go through. You can check them out @ www.magicfoundation.org or call them @ 1-800-3MA -GIC3. Their address is 1327 N. Harlem Avenue, Oak PArk, IL  60302. I don't use her as a doctor, I only know of her because of Magic and Cathy Kusch, the CAH division director, uses her for her 13 yr. old son. (SWCAH) She is a sweetheart. To be a member is like $20-$30.00 dollars I think and the newsletter comes out 4x a year (Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall) and is filled with info, study info if available, Cathy's notes, comments from parents and a "Ask the doctor" section (Dr. Pang). Its a great organization. My son won a computer from them 4 years ago after writing a little essay as to why he thought he needed a computer! Anyway, they have a yearly convention in Chicago every July (I think this year was #7) It involves all their divisions (I think there is like 10), all considered growth disorders. Evidently they had approx. 800 people go this year. But at the conference you are broken up into your division and they have seminars and feild trips for the kids while your at the seminars and family events at night and on Saturday (like to Navy Pier). It is usually a 3 day thing, I think. I have never been but am seriously thinking of going next year.
