I'm sorry to hear that your doctor won't even consider the dex elixir, since it would make things so much easier for you in terms of getting your dose right.  You're right that it would be just about impossible to get to a dose of .412 mg. with a tablet....that's why it seems unreasonable that he won't even consider an alternative that could easily solve the problem.  A simple call to the pharmacist or pharmaceutical company should set his mind at ease about the elixir formulation, so I guess I really don't see what is stopping him.  Does he have a reason for not even bothering to look into it or is he just being stubborn, for no good reason???
