I have not heard of having two children with different forms of the disorder, but it doesn't surprise me. My kids (6 & 3) both have SWCAH, and do have the same mutation of the gene. But, for background information, my husband and I have two different mutations. My husband also has his second gene partially mutated, so I believe (with nothing backing this up) that it does increase our risks to greater than 25%. I also feel that some of my husbands health complaints can be linked to his genetic makeup in regards to the CAH gene, but since his adrenals are working a little, he is untreatable. I don't know if any of this helped you, but sometimes just hearing about other people's situations gives you a little more understanding. If you have any specific questions regarding my situation, please e-mail me. BeckiBecki
