Actually that's been the source of lengthy debates. Some (myself includced) feel the term is false and insulting. Others feel the term is appropriate. Unfortunately some in the medical profession actually go so far as to erroneously classify CAH as hermaphroditism or pseudo-hermaphrotitism (as of the "pseudo" part can take away the stigma of the rest). Some see it as an opportunity to push a gender neutral philosophy, by expanding the term "intersex" so that in includes groups that obviously aren't "intersexed".

I find it ironic that in this day of politically correct speech people would feel the need to intentional insult and hurt CAH children by using the term for them.
