Thanks Janet.  I have read somewhere that rough skin can be a sign of undersupression, but the salt rash is probably something different.  I am going to request a dexa scan regarding the osteoporosis.  I am from the UK so wasn't able to go to the Magic Convention but was very interested to read your post regarding what was discussed.  Thanks again
