I find it ironic that in this day of politically correct speech people would feel the need to intentional insult and hurt CAH children by using the term for them.

Why is using an accepted and widely-used medical term insulting and and hurtful?  As you wrote, they used to call us hermaphrodite or pseudo hermaphrodite.

If hermaphrodite or pseudo-hermaphrodite is not good, and intersex is not good, please feel free to offer suggestions.

The medical community is waiting for you Danny, to find them a new label for us.  Please do not make it insulting or hurtful.

In the meantime, feel free to call me an hermactivist. Aphrodite is fine too if you want to be formal.

Betsy

PS: It must have been all that pre-marital sex, but I am kind of fond of the Aphrodite title.  Let's use that one!
